maryland school superintendant

Today I got to meet Superintendant of Maryland schools. Her name is Dr.Grasmick. She came to my school because we are a green school. We showed her our solar panel and our nature trail. It was an honor to meet her.

My day

Today I got met the Superintendent of Maryland schools Dr. Grasmick. She came to our school to learn about green schools. We showed her our solar panels and nature trails. Also there was the Superintendent of Calvert County schools, Dr. Smith. It was a great honor to meet them both.

Afterwards we went to see UP. You can see my review on this in my earlier blog. On our way home Chase got a really bad ear ache and we had to take him to the doctor. He had an ear infection and the fluid was coming out his ear....gross! I hope he feels better soon.

Tonight I went to the Relay for Life. Its sad walking the garden of honors and memory to see how many people have died from cancer. I hope they find a cure soon.

When we got home we went to give Gramps his Father's Day gifts because he's leaving for West VA to visit his father (my great grandfather) this weekend. He loved his gifts.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a great day. Looking forward to my cousins 5th birthday party. I hope the rain stays away because it is a pool party.

UP the movie

In UP an old man who was out for an adventure when he was a kid mets the love of his life. He crosses his heart and promises to take her to Paradise Falls in South America one day. Several years go by and they grow old. He finally has saved up enough money to take her and she gets sick and dies before they can go. His life is going horribly and he is very lonely. He is being forced to move to a retirement community. He decides to go on an adventure to take his house to Paradise Falls. Along the way he discovers that a local boy scout was on his house as it floated away. He and that boy are able to save a dog and bird and make it to Paradise Falls and have a lifetime friendship.

This is a highly hilarious and ridiculous movie. I give it 4 out of 5 balloons. Definietly a movie to go see.

lucky

Today I went to a friend's house. We were riding our bikes and scooters when a pit bull went after us. I dropped the scooter and ran as fast as I could down the street with my friend riding behind me. That pit bull nearly chopped my arm off. I'm so lucky.

Speaking of lucky, today I got to go to my favorite restaurant, Joss, to have sushi. Yummy!
